With the area

In anthropogeography and the topography that are going to elucidate geography, a difference every place in particular, "the area" is a very important concept.

However, this explanation was not accepted by all geographers and had criticism to face it led by U.S.A. and the U.K. of 1960's from 1950's if I fixed "an area" in the core.
I do not mention local importance in the geography.

About the problem "what is with the area", recognition is different by a country.
In the following, I write down a main argument.
I set out for the atmospher / biosphere / human zone constituting surface of the earth area (Geosph re) / hydrosphere / rock zone with this "element", and "an area" is part of the surface of the earth zone.

"The part of the surface of the earth satisfied by things of concrete reality" is an area if I express it in other words.

With plural common points, the part of the surface of the earth which it can be distinguished from the outskirts is an area to be concrete.
